Circle K Coffee: A Budget Friendly Option?

I have to admit, I was not very impressed by Circle K coffee at the corner of St Clair ave west and oakwood avenue. I decided to give it a try after hearing that it was 100% sustainably sourced, meaning that it was good for the environment and the communities that produce the beans. However, I found that the coffee was mediocre at best, and not worth the price.

I opted for the dark roast espresso, hoping that it would have some flavor and kick, but I was disappointed.

The coffee was bland and watery, with a burnt and bitter aftertaste. It did not smell or taste fresh, and it did not give me any energy boost. It was like drinking a cup of hot water with a hint of coffee. I had to add a lot of sugar and creamer to make it drinkable, but it still did not satisfy me. I felt like I wasted my money on a subpar product.

The only positive thing I can say about Circle K coffee is that it is cheap. You can get a regular size cup for only $1.49, or a large size for $1.79. Plus, if you sign up for their Easy Pay program, you can save 6 cents per gallon on fuel and get every 7th cup of coffee free. That's a decent deal for coffee drinkers who are not too picky about their coffee quality.

However, if you are looking for a better coffee experience, I would suggest you skip Circle K coffee and go to one of the many other coffee shops in the city. There are plenty of options that offer more variety, quality, and flavor, and that are not much more expensive. For example, you can try Oakwood Espresso, which is just a few blocks away from Circle K, and has a cozy and friendly atmosphere, and a delicious selection of coffee and pastries.

In conclusion, I would rate Circle K coffee at St Clair ave west and oakwood avenue 2.5 stars out of 5 stars. It is not the worst coffee I have ever had, but it is not something I would recommend or repeat. It is cheap and convenient, but that's about it. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, you can do much better elsewhere.
